Floor Contents Evidence Testing
Today you collected evidence samples from the floor. Tests were conducted using Hydrogen Peroxide, Biuret Reagant, Iodine, and Benedict's Solution. What are your conclusions based upon the test results? I would like you to read the posts of other CSI teams and respond to their comments, too.

Hello fellow investigators!
Team VAK has conducted three tests and the outcomes were surprising! From the hydrogen peroxide it reacted so its positive. So this substance has peroxidase in it. With Benedicts solution we got a sandy yellow color. This means the substance has a relativly large amount of monosacharide. We know it has simple sugar. We tested it with an iodine solution which formed a tan color so there was not complex sugar. Our last test
was for Biuret Breagent. The substance does not have protein. Our groups theory is that through the induction of a new member they had to drink 12 cans of soda. The soda has simple sugar. We think they threw-up drinking too much soda.
Team fat fingers has conducted four tests and the outcomes were as followed: From the hydrogen peroxide it reacted so it was positive which means it contains peroxidase. With the Benedict's Solution, we got a yellow-orange color. The substance contained a larger amount of monosaccharide. With the Iodine Solution, the substance turned a yellow-dark brown color which means the substance does not contain polysaccharide. And finally, with the Biuret Reagent, the substance turne a lavender color which means it contains protein. Our group has a different outcome from the Team VAK because we had a larger amount of the substance which might have effected the testing.
Hey fellow investigators!
We did blood testing today and WOW! It was very complex! We got maybe about 3 AB's and its very interesting outcomes! We gotta go and we'll write more about soon! Adios!
The brown goup was positive for peroxidase, protein, and had large amounts of monosaccharides, which are simple sugar.
The test for the blood test was positive for hydrogen peroxide and has some protein.
Keep up the good work.
